Not all the people who you think could withstand everything are really strong. Sometimes they just have to. Sometimes they just have to pretend that they are really strong because that’s what the society believe who they are. They were labeled strong and so they thought they should live with that. Not all the people who you think are strong are really strong. Sometimes they just have to because there are people who look up to them, who uses them as an inspiration that if they can be resilient even when it gets hard then others can also do that.
They just have to be strong because there are people who are also getting their strength from them. They believed that if they showed a sign of weakness others will stumble, other people’s view about not giving up life will crumple.
Have you asked someone how are they today? It could be a loved one or a friend who you thought is strong but inside they are as fragile as you are. It only takes two words, “Kamusta ka?” 🙂
The one who you thought is the strongest could be the weakest. Don’t be fooled by what you see, it’s what happens inside that matters. Give time in reaching out for other people even if it appears that they don’t need it just because you think they are strong. We all need someone.
