Loving the Broken One

It’s alright to love those broken people who are trying to stay alive.

It’s okay to cherish people who feel lost but are trying to live with direction.

It’s okay to make them feel that in this chapter of their lives they don’t have to be alone although they’re already damaged.

It’s totally fine to choose them over someone who is already well and a little complete.
It’s fine because, perhaps, this broken person that you would choose over a fine one would try to save you from some heartaches as much as they could. Maybe because that same lost and broken person knows how hard it is to be so damaged—that broken person knows how it feels and wouldn’t be able to afford to let you experience it.
